By using the Menu Scan platform (the "Platform") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to any of them, please do not use the Platform.

Account and subscription

A restaurant account is for a real business, and you are responsible for the accuracy of its data and the secrecy of its password.
Every new account gets a 7-day free trial. Continuing the service afterwards requires activating a subscription by contacting us.
When a subscription ends, dashboard access pauses and your data is kept until renewal or a deletion request.
The username sets your restaurant menu's link on the Platform, and the Platform may block names that are offensive, misleading or reserved for Platform pages.

The restaurant's responsibilities

You are responsible for your menu's content — prices, photos, descriptions and the availability of dishes — and for fulfilling the orders you receive.
Payments between you and your guests happen outside the Platform (cash or any method you adopt); the Platform records operations and does not collect money on your behalf.
Complying with the local laws that apply to your business, including food safety, invoicing and tax.

Permitted content

Publishing unlawful, misleading or offensive content through menus, ads or the mini website is prohibited.
You must hold the rights to use the images and logos you upload.
The Platform may hide infringing content or suspend an infringing account after notifying it.

Reviews

Guest reviews express their own opinions. The restaurant has moderation tools to hide abusive reviews, and fake reviews, or reviews incentivised for payment, must not be used.

Availability of the service

We work to keep the Platform available around the clock, but maintenance windows or outages beyond our control may occur. The Platform is not liable for indirect damages caused by service interruption, and its liability is in every case limited to the value of the current month's subscription.

Ending use

You may stop using the Platform at any time and ask for your data to be deleted. The Platform may suspend accounts that breach these terms after notifying their owner where possible.

Changes to the terms

These terms may be updated from time to time, with the date of the last update shown. Continuing to use the Platform after an update means you accept it.
